WE DID IT. Athena finished in first place and won the tickets to Splendour In The Grass. I’m almost never serious, but feel compelled to say that none of this was frivolous. She’s one of those rare people whose decent nature and good heart make you want to be a better person. I literally can’t think of anyone I’d rather help do anything.
So thank you all for jumping in. I won’t forget it.
TOMORROW: I’ll compile the list of everyone who helped with the voting, then print out their names and choose three randomly out of a hat Crying Lightning box. The first winner will have a choice between a Space Monkey shirt or poster. The second two winners will receive Space Monkey posters.

So after several wrong turns, Gina, Jared, and I found ourselves lost in the streets of Salt Lake City about two miles away from the venue. Just when tempers started to flare, three helpful strangers appeared and gave us directions.
