If someone has already figured this out disregard my ignorance but heres my two cents:

Black treacle is the monkeyfied story of Sampson! Lyles black treacle was founded by Abraham Lyle who was a deeply religious man who wanted the bee-infested dead lion from the story of Sampson on his product. In the bible Sampson is in some fucking desert land…meets a dame…kills a lion…marries the dame and then finds the lion again…covered with bees that have built a honeycomb in its caracas. In the bible this means some mystical shit but in arctic monkeys world it means helders kills a lion and gets the girl. Win! This is the exact plot of the black treacle vid is it not?
